Our Fees

A fee agreement is systematically entered into between the firm and the client upon the opening of a matter.

Fees are freely determined and may be set on a flat-fee basis or calculated based on time spent.

A success fee may also be agreed upon.

Hourly fees

Lawyers’ fees may be determined on a time-spent basis.

Under this arrangement, fees are calculated according to the time actually spent handling the matter, based on an hourly rate agreed in advance, taking into account, in particular, the nature and complexity of the case, the significance of the interests at stake, the work required, and the lawyer’s experience.

This fee structure is formalized in a written fee agreement, established in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of the Law of 31 December 1971 and the National Internal Regulations of the legal profession.

The client is kept informed of the progress of the matter and the time spent, ensuring clear, fair, and transparent information regarding the amount of fees.

Flat fee

Lawyers’ fees may be determined on a flat-fee basis.

A flat fee consists of a global and final amount, agreed in advance, covering all services required for a specifically defined assignment.

The amount of the flat fee is determined in particular by taking into account the nature and complexity of the matter, the significance of the interests at stake, the estimated time required for its handling, as well as the lawyer’s experience.

This billing method is formalized in a written fee agreement, concluded in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of the Law of 31 December 1971 and the National Internal Regulations of the legal profession, specifying the scope of the assignment.

Any services not included in the initially defined scope will be subject to prior agreement and, where applicable, additional billing.

Success fee

A success fee may be agreed in addition to a primary fee, whether fixed or time-based, in accordance with the legal and ethical rules applicable to the legal profession.

It consists of an additional fee, payable only in the event of a successful outcome, as defined in the fee agreement, and calculated according to pre-determined terms.

The “result” may include, in particular, the recovery of a sum of money, savings achieved, or a favorable outcome in proceedings, as expressly provided for in the agreement.

The success fee is set out in a written fee agreement, concluded in accordance with Article 10 of the Law of 31 December 1971 and the National Internal Regulations, specifying the calculation basis, the rate or method of determination of the fee, as well as the conditions under which it becomes payable.
